What we believe and teach . . . is pictured below through Martin Luther’s Seal.
The cross in the center is black within the heart reminding us that faith in Jesus Christ’s death on the cross saves us from the wrath of God. “For with the heart man believes and is made right with God.” Rom 10:10
The heart is fixed upon the center of a white rose to show that faith causes joy, consolation and peace.
The rose is fixed in a “sky” colored background indicating that our joy is filled with the hope of more joys to come.
The gold ring speaks of the endless and precious joys of heaven which are ours as a gift through faith in Jesus Christ.
In essence we hold to three principles, that of Grace, Faith and the Bible.
· GRACE ALONE - We believe that by grace (God’s undeserved love) alone, God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to the cross to pay for our sins. (John 3:16)
· FAITH ALONE - We believe that man is saved through faith alone in Jesus as his Savior. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
· SCRIPTURE ALONE - We believe that the Bible is the inspired and unerring Word of God and the only source for teaching and practice. (II Timothy 3:15-16, II Peter 1:21)
